This site was formerly a set of semi detached houses arranged as two single dwellings. The client had obtained consent for demolition of existing building and erection of a new build block of 9 residential units compromising of 4 one bedroom, 3 two bedroom, 1 three bedroom and 1 four bedroom flats.
This site now has a gross development value of over £4m, produces a rental income just shy of £20,000 per calendar month. The total construction cost on this project was £1.8m. In addition to improving the kerb appeal of what was the former block of two houses, we have assisted in contributing to the nationwide housing deficit by assisting our client in adding high quality affordable housing for the rental market.
The project has also shown signs of contribution to sustainability having solar panels on the roof and electric vehicle charging points.
Our favourite part of this project has to be the split level communal garden to the rear with both a generous bike stand and swing/slide area for kids to play.
