WOODCOTE

Set in the heart of tree lined Purley, the project brief here was to demolish a dated chalet bungalow and build a new imposing one which was to become the staple property of the street. We have constructed a triple gable fronted property from the ground up, consisting of high end finishes such as polished concrete floors, marmarino venetian plaster, bespoke joinery with western red cedar cladding. From the 6ft hanging chandelier draping from a vaulted hallway ceiling over an LED lit staircase with american oak treads, to the beautiful wainscoting on the walls leading into the lounge where a media wall finished in venetian plaster; no expense has been spared by the client. We have designed and installed a bespoke designer kitchen fully complete with siemens appliances finished with a stunning Panda work surface. Both bathrooms and ground floor WC which by the way is accessed through a secret door are finished in Vado sanitary ware; even a nice bench in the shower to provide ultimate comfort and luxury. To complete this, we have a beautiful resin bound driveway with in and out access and electric gates just to protect this tranquil space from the road. Our favourite part of this project has to be the use of the glazing, which lets in all the natural light and beautiful surrounding lanscapes.
